Dr. Tim Murphy
After serving in the United States military, Dr. Tim Murphy relocated to Marietta, GA to begin his chiropractic career. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University and has since continued to pursue academic fulfillment receiving his Post Doctorate certifications in Chiropractic Spinal Trauma, Chiropractic Clinical Neurology and “Year One” of the three year post doctorate Diplomat program in Sports Injuries.
Dr. Tim Murphy uses both hand and instrument adjusting, depending on his patient’s needs. His manual (adjusting by hand) techniques include Diversified and Thompson, and instrument adjusting techniques include Impulse IQ and Activator.
Cold Laser treatments are also incorporated into the patient’s treatment plan as needed for which is FDA cleared pain and healing.
Dr. Tim Murphy is a firm believer that everyone under care should be active in their approach to getting and staying better and therefore each patient is also given specific stretches and exercises.
Dr. Tim Murphys love for the chiropractic profession isn’t limited to just rendering care to patients. He serves the profession as a member for his state association (the CCA – the Colorado Chiropractic Association). During his 14 year tender as a CCA board member, he held multiple positions including District Director, Chairman of the Education Committee, President, and Chairman of the Board. He currently also serves as the co-founder and president of the non-profit organization “Chiropractors for Chiropractic”.
Dr. Tim Murphy love of chiropractic and his genuine concern for other drives his pursuit of excellence in his work as well as his service to the community, and has earned him the following awards from the Colorado Chiropractic Association:
2000 – 2001 Young Chiropractor of the Year
2003 – 2004 Rising Star Chiropractor of The Year
2007 – 2008 Chiropractor of The Year
2009 – 2010 Chiropractor of The Year

Deborah Murphy – Practice Manager
Deborah was born and raised in Edmonton, AB Canada, met Tim while he was stationed in Hawaii and then moved to the U.S. in 1989. Though her degree and professional experience was originally in IT/Computing Science, she became eager to learn more about chiropractic once Tim began chiropractic college. When not working at her IT job, she used her business and computer skills to help local chiropractors improve their business practices. Once Tim graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic, they moved to Colorado, where she continued to combine her business and IT skills with her love of chiropractic – working with Dr. Murphy and teaching small business skills to young, new chiropractors. She eventually left the corporate world to work full-time with Dr. Murphy.
Deborah’s passion for chiropractic is as big as Dr. Murphy’s and together they are committed to delivering quality chiropractic care to their patients (pediatrics to geriatrics) and their community!
